JOURNAL ENTRIES FROM A VICTIM OF RAPE
Spring 2018
motion graphics, sound
I created this piece to cultivate empathy and understanding around the widely misunderstood issue of sexual assault. It is also about systematic pressures of patriarchal power, capitalistic objectivity, and misogyny.
It was chosen to be one of three winners of a Special Merit Award selected by the Maryland Institute College of Art 2018 undergraduate jurors, Myrtis Bedolla and Stephen Towns. To read more about the jurors and the show, click here.
